Im Zentrum der figürlichen Auseinandersetzung steht die Idee, dass unbequeme, gesellschaftspolitische und sozialkritische Themen einen figürlichen Ausdruck suchen. Die Reihe nennt sich schlicht "unbequem".

Sie unterscheiden sich vom "Zyklus 1-3" und dem "Neuland",  in dem sie keiner Formensprache oder Material verpflichtet sind. Befreiung steht im Vordergrund.

At the center of the figurative debate is the idea that uncomfortable, socio-political and socially critical topics seek figurative expression. The series is simply called “uncomfortable”.

They differ from the "Cycle 1-3" and the "Neuland" in that they are not committed to any formal language or material. Liberation is the priority.
